2. Confirm the value (A/D value) displayed on
the screen, and compare it with the threshold
value on the right column.
Range of A/D value:
44<n<240
(The smaller the value
is, the higher the
temperature becomes.
The values out of the
range are regarded as
the fatal error.

1. Select [Paper Thickness Sensor 1].
2. Remove the Upper Rear Cover. (P. 195)
3. Insert/Remove paper into/from the
transmission and reception section of the
sensor.
