6. Perform steps 1 and 2 of the “Replacing the Waste Ink Pads” on page 126.
7. Remove the four (CUPS M4x6) screws securing the Maintenance Base
Assembly to the printer main body and remove the Maintenance Base
Assembly.

8. Shift the Maintenance Base Assembly to the left to release the joint with
the R Side Frame. Then, watching out for the harnesses, lower the
Maintenance Base Assembly and remove it.
