4.5 Disassembly and Assembly of Ink Supply
Mechanism
4.5.1 C472_SUB-B Board
1. Remove the L Side Cover. (p.163)
2. Disconnect the seven FFCs (ink cartridge) and the two FFCs (Main Board/
Maintenance Tank) on the C472_SUB-B Board found at the left side of I/H Frame.
(See Figure 4-62)
3. Disconnect the connector of the Release Sensor (I/H Lever).
4. Remove the four screws (M3
× 6) and remove the C472_SUB-B Board.

C A U T I O N
When connecting an FFC, take great care not to insert it aslant.
(Inserting aslant can cause a short circuit of signals, thus resulting
in broken circuit elements.)
