6. Remove the H Top Cover and move the Carriage Unit to the center.
7. Remove the two screws (A and B shown in Figure 5-35) that secure the Head
Fixing Plate and remove it.
8. Loosen the screw (C) that secures the Head Slant Lever.
9. Slightly move the Head Slant Lever up or downward to correct the inclination
of the printhead.
z A>B (Pattern 1) shown in Figure 5-34:
Move the Head Slant Lever downward.
z A<B (Pattern 3) shown in Figure 5-34:
Move the Head Slant Lever upward.
10. Attach the three screws removed in Step 7, and tighten them in the order of A,
B, and C. Then return the Carriage Unit to its home position and close the
printer cover (half transparent).
11. Click the [Back] button to return to the previous screen. Repeat Step 3 to Step
9 until the correct result is obtained.
