4.3.3 Document Cover/ASF Cover
Parts/Components need to be removed in advance:
None
Removal procedure
1. Release both the guide pins with the hinge side held up slightly as shown
below, and remove the ASF Cover from the Document Cover.

2. Open the Document Cover.
3. Release both the other guide pins that secure the Document Cover, and
remove the Document Cover from the Scanner Unit.

Install the Document Pad following the procedure below.
1. Place the Document Pad with the side where the double-sided
tape attached upward on the Rod Lens Array aligning its
corner with the home position.
2. Close the Document Cover to attach the Document Pad.
