3. While supporting the right side of the media roll, loosen the right roll core holder knob and remove
the roll core holder from the roll.
4. Lower the media roll onto the roll support.

Daily Tasks to Perform Before You Print
Perform these tasks before you start to print each day:
• Check the amount of ink remaining: If an ink cartridge is expended while printing, you can resume
printing once the expended cartridge is replaced. However, you may notice a color difference in your
printouts if you switch ink cartridges in the middle of a print job. For large print jobs, we recommend
that you replace the low ink cartridges before printing for optimal output. The low ink cartridges you
removed can be reinserted and used at a later date.
