Important:
Skewing errors may occur when automatically
taking up thick paper such as enhanced matte
paper or fine art paper. If a skewing error occurs,
the print position may shift causing print quality to
decline. Check the print quality, clear the error and
continue using the printer, or change the paper
type.

Turn on t he printer.

Select Menu - General Settings - Printer
Settings - Paper Source Settings - Roll Paper
Setup - Roll1 Function - Ta ke -u p.

Load roll paper in the roll2 unit.

Make the paper settings.

Select Menu - Paper Setting - Roll 2 - Prepare
for Take-up.
Press Proceed to display the take-up procedure
on the control panel. Follow the instructions on
the panel to load the take-up media.

Raise the spindle lock lever for roll1.

Remove the spindle.

Remove the transparent media edge guide from
the spindle.
