Chapter 3 Advanced Product Use
Firmware Update
You can update the product firmware by following the steps below.
1
Turn on the product.

Update the firmware using the firmware update tool.
During the firmware update, the power LED flashes and the product restarts.

Confirm that the tool indicates that the update is complete.
• The firmware update tool used depends on the connection method.
∗ Network connection: Firmware Updater
∗ USB connection: FlashWriter
• The tool can be obtained from the URL listed in “Downloading Software” on page 70.
