2.2 Indication of LEDs on board(s)
The front edge of all PBAs in the PBX are equipped with LEDs of different colours. Their purpose and
signalling cadence is described in the following. On system restart all LEDs are ON and go OFF during
start-up sequence. Depending on their function the LEDs are in different positions on the front edge.

The LED can be ON for up to 2 min. during
upgrading or only 1 to 5 seconds during
start-up conditions.

alarm log e.g.if warnings occur these war-
ning codes are stored in the warning log
and this LED is turned on go to page 11.
Red LED is ON if cold start strap
(located below) is inserted go to page 11.
Red LED lights up during power on se-
quence . Check if PROMS are
placed and if no yellow and green LEDs
flashes. For LED flashing procedures
during upgrading refer to MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTION (1541-ASB 150 02).
