Configuration of Virtual MAC for a Stand-alone Node
Set eda_vmac_format to no.
Set ‘switching_rule’ to ‘virtual_mac’ in ‘vlan’. Also, set an ‘uplink’ and optionally
a ‘gateway’.
When setting the switching rule in the CLI to ‘virtual_mac’, IP validation is
automatically activated.
The assigned virtual MAC addresses are status attributes in the connection
resource.
Suggestion: set max_virtual_mac_addresses to max_dynamic_ip_addresses
plus the number of defined static IP addresses.
