the other VLAN is used for downstream traffic.
The second parallel VLAN ID (paths marked red in the figure below) is also
used for some upstream traffic, like ARP, DHCP and IGMP.

Note: When configured from PEM, this feature is only available when Peer
to Peer allowed is selected as the Access Method. In this case, two
VLANs are configured for the Service: Downstream VLAN and
Upstream VLAN.
