Overview

This document is the user's manual for the Euromaid HTL65 Washing Machine. It provides comprehensive information on the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of the appliance.

Function Description:

The Euromaid HTL65 is an automatic washing machine designed for domestic use, capable of washing and rinsing laundry. It offers a range of wash programs tailored to different fabric types, soil levels, and water temperatures, including Auto, Wool, Blanket, Normal, Small, Light, Heavy, and Tub Clean. The machine features a control panel with buttons for On/Off, Start/Pause, Air Turbo, Auxiliary Function, Water Level, Delayed Start Time, Water Supply, and Function selection, along with a digital display for remaining time, delay start time, and error codes.

The washing machine automatically adjusts the water level based on the laundry load for most programs, but users can manually select water levels (Low, Medium, High, Extra High) using the Water Level button. It supports both cold and hot water inlets, with an option to use a single (cold) water inlet by installing a stopper on the hot water valve. The machine also includes a Child Lock function to prevent accidental operation by children. Auxiliary functions like Wash, Soaking, Rinse, and Spin can be selected to customize wash cycles. The Air Turbo function is available to speed up laundry drying, particularly when a spin cycle is set. A Rinse Hold function allows water to remain in the machine after the last rinse, useful for preventing wrinkles if laundry cannot be removed immediately.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Model: HTL65
  • Maximum dry laundry capacity: 6.5 kg
  • Height: 94 cm
  • Width: 56.5 cm
  • Depth: 58 cm
  • Net weight: 38 kg (±4 kg)
  • Electrical input: 220-240V~/50Hz
  • Total power: 300-340 W
  • Spin speed: 750 rpm (min., max.)
  • Water supply pressure: 1-10 bars (0.1 - 1 MPa)
  • Hot water inlet temperature (max.): 90 °C
  • Cold water inlet temperature (max.): 25 °C
  • Service life: 10 years (with original spare parts availability)

Usage Features:

  • Laundry Sorting: Users are advised to sort laundry by fabric type, color, soil level, and water temperature, following garment tag instructions.
  • Preparation: Before washing, users should remove metal attachments from clothes, empty pockets, place small items in laundry bags, fasten zippers, mend tears, and turn trousers and delicate laundry inside out. Heavily soiled items should be shaken off to remove dust/powders.
  • Loading: Laundry should be placed loosely into the machine, ensuring even distribution to prevent noise and vibration.
  • Detergent and Softener Use: The manual details how to use various types of detergents (powder, liquid, gel, tablet) and softeners, emphasizing adherence to manufacturer's dosage recommendations to avoid excessive foam, poor rinsing, and environmental impact. Bleaching agents can be used in a dedicated compartment, but not mixed with detergent or used on colored clothes. Starch can also be added to the softener compartment, but not with softener.
  • Energy Saving Tips: Recommendations include operating at maximum capacity, using warm or cold water for lightly soiled laundry, selecting faster programs for small loads, avoiding soaking for lightly soiled items, and choosing longer spin times if using a dryer.
  • Program Selection: The control panel allows selection of various main programs and auxiliary functions. The display shows the remaining wash time, delay start time, and error messages.
  • Child Lock: A safety feature to prevent children from interfering with the machine's operation, activated by pressing the "Water level" and "Function" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  • Rinse Hold: This function keeps water in the machine after the final rinse, indicated by blinking LEDs, and requires pressing the start/pause button again to initiate the spin cycle.

Maintenance Features:

  • Detergent Drawer Cleaning: The detergent drawer should be cleaned regularly (every 4-5 washing cycles) to prevent powder detergent accumulation. The drawer can be pulled out, turned upwards, and removed for cleaning.
  • Body and Control Panel Cleaning: The machine's body should be wiped with soapy water or mild gel detergents and dried with a soft cloth. The control panel should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Water Intake Filter Cleaning: Filters located at the water intake valves (rear of the machine) and at the ends of the water intake hoses (connected to the tap) should be cleaned regularly to prevent foreign substances and dirt from entering the machine. This involves closing taps, removing hose nuts, and cleaning the filters with a brush or pliers under running water.
  • Pump Filter Cleaning: The pump filter prevents solid items from clogging the pump impeller. It should be cleaned every 3 months or when clogged. This involves unplugging the machine, opening the filter cap, loosening the pump filter to drain water into a container, and then completely removing and cleaning the filter and surrounding area.
  • Fuzz Collector Cleaning: The fuzz collector can be removed by pushing it out, opened, and cleaned, ensuring the filter rubber is returned to its original position.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual includes a detailed troubleshooting guide for common issues such as power cuts, water drainage problems, machine not starting, frozen hoses, water leaks, water supply issues, and loud noises/vibrations, along with corresponding solutions. Error messages (E1-E6) are also explained with their respective controls.
  • Transportation: Before transporting, the machine should be unplugged, water drain and supply connections removed, all remaining water drained, and styrofoams reinstalled.

The manual emphasizes the importance of reading all instructions, following warnings, and contacting an Authorized Service Agent for installation and repairs to ensure safety and maintain warranty validity. It also highlights the product's compliance with EU WEEE and RoHS Directives, promoting responsible disposal and recycling.
