Placing Baby in the Carrier – Facing Outward
IMPORTANT: Baby MUST be able to hold up head and neck
unassisted (about 4 to 5 months old).
Sit down.
With unsnapped/unbuckled
carrier on your lap, place baby
onto carrier facing away
from you with legs strad-
dling carrier.
BE PREPARED FOR BABY’S
SUDDEN MOVEMENT!
Support baby’s chest while
bringing the carrier up toward
baby’s chest.

Fasten the side-entry buckle A
(see page 4). Make sure it
fastens with an audible click.
Fold head support B down
then fasten the head
support buckle C to the
shoulder strap. Make sure
it fastens with an audible
click.
Repeat on the other side.
