tion, press

game.”
To select the Game Mode
You may select one of two different
game modes: Rubber or Duplicate.
The computer is preset at the Rubber
mode. Rubber bridge is usually an
informal type of play, while Duplicate
is the mode used for tournament play.
If you would like to change to anoth-
er level, press
CLEAR/UNDO until
Play game” is displayed. Then
press the right side of the
CURSOR
twice and “Game Mode” is dis-
played. Press ENTER, and “Rubber
will be displayed. Press the right side
of the
CURSOR to select the next mode
of “
Duplicate.” Press the left side of
the
CURSOR to return to the
Rubber” mode. When you have
made your selection, press

CLEAR/UNDO to return to “Play

.”
To view the Score
Press the SCORE/HINT button to
review the current score. Press the
down side of the CURSOR to review
the total scores for both hands of NS
(North/South) and EW (East/West.)
To clear the Score
Press CLEAR/UNDO until “Play
game
” is displayed. Press the right
side of the
CURSOR repeatedly until
Clear Score” is displayed. Press
ENTER to reset the score to zero (0).
Score Reset!” is then displayed.
Press
CLEAR/UNDO to return to your
previous screen.
To select the Dealing Option
There are two dealing options before
you start a new hand. The computer is
preset at the Random Option.
Press CLEAR/UNDO until “Play
game
” is displayed. Press ENTER
and “Rand deal” is displayed. Then
press the right side of the
CURSOR
and “Same deal” is displayed. Press
the left side of the
CURSOR to return
to “
Rand deal.” When you have
made your selection, press
ENTER.
Press
CLEAR/UNDO to return to “Play
game
.”
To get a Hint
Press SCORE/HINT twice during either
bidding or playing to get a hint. The
computer will then display a suggest-
ed bid or play for you. Press
ENTER to
accept the hint, or
CLEAR/UNDO to
cancel the Hint display and then make
your own bid or play.
To turn the Sound on or off
Press CLEAR/UNDO until “Play
game
” is displayed. Press the right
side of the
CURSOR repeatedly until
Set sound” is displayed. Press
ENTER and “Sound off!” is dis-
played. The Sound text in the upper
left-hand corner of the LCD will dis-

Avoid rough handling such as bumping or dropping.
Avoid moisture and extreme temperatures. For best results, use
between the temperatures of 39ºF and 100ºF (4º C and 38º C).
Clean using only a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaners with chemical agents.
Special Care & Handling
Batteries should be installed or replaced only by an adult.
Your Deluxe LCD Bridge uses 3 AAA batteries, not included.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-
cadmium) batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Remove exhausted batteries from the unit.
Do not short circuit battery terminals.
Remove batteries and store them in a cool, dry place when not in use.
To avoid explosion or leakage, do not dispose of batteries in a fire or
attempt to recharge alkaline or other non-rechargeable batteries.
