l Removeallstaplesornailsfromthemagazine.
l Pressthesafetynose/contactpinandpullthetrigger.Thesafety
nose/contactpinandthetriggershouldmovefreely.
l Reloadthestaplesornailstothemagazine.
l Donotusethetoolifthesafetynose/contactedpincannotmovefreely.
l Placethecontactpinontheworkpieceandpressthemachinewithout
pullingthetrigger,themachineshouldnotfire;Takethemachinefromthe
workpiece,thecontactpinshouldspringbackautomatically.
l Pullthetrigger,themachineshouldnotfire.
InsertingStaplesorNailsintothemagazine
NOTE: Thenumberofstaplesornailsleftinthemagazinecanbereadusing
theviewingwindow.
A)Removebatterypackfromthetool.
B)Pressthereleasebuttonandpulloutthemagazinecover.
C)Tiltthetoolandplacenails/staplesintothetrackofthemagazinechannel.
Makesurethatthefastenersareplacedcorrectly:
l Staplesareplacedagainsttheprofiledsideoftherail,thecrownofthe
stapleisintheuppermostpartofthemagazine(legsarefacingawayfrom
thebodyofthetool).
l Nailsareplacedagainsttheprofiledsideoftherail,withthepointsofthe
nailsfacingdownwards.
D)Closethemagazinecoveruntilitengageswiththereleasebutton.
E)Reattachbatterypacktotool.
Warning:Donotplacefastenersofdifferentlength.Donotplacestaples
andnailsmixedtogether.
