G48Te2 I/O Module
The G48Te2 I/O module (Figure 25) has 48 autosensing 10/100/1000BASE-T ports that use standard
RJ-45 connectors.

You can add an optional S-POE daughter card to the G48Te2 I/O module to provide Power over
Ethernet (PoE) functions in this module. With an installed S-POE card, the ports can deliver PoE to an
attached device, in addition to the usual Ethernet connection, using a single cable. The G48Te2 I/O
module supports the IEEE 802.3af PoE specification.
In the default configuration of the G48Te2 I/O module, all ports:
● Are added to the default VLAN as untagged
● Inherit the properties of the default VLAN (for example, protocol type and VLANid)
● Operate in autonegotiation mode
The G48Te2 I/O module has the following LEDs:
● PoE present
● Module status
● Module diagnostics
● Port status
