d. Snap the clip rmly around the connector.
7. Connect the other end of the power cord to an AC power outlet.
Warning
Always make sure that the source outlet is properly grounded before
plugging the AC power cord into the AC power supply.
To install a second power supply, repeat this procedure.
When you are nished, follow the steps in Turn on the Switch on page 66.
Install an 800 W Internal DC Power Supply
Caution
Make sure that the DC power supply circuit is not overloaded. Use proper
overcurrent protection, such as a circuit breaker, to prevent overcurrent
conditions. You can use up to a 30-Amp breaker.
All installed power supplies must have the same airow direction (front-to-back or
back-to-front) and must match the airow direction of the installed fan modules.
Warning
To prevent an electrical hazard, make sure that the AC power cord is not
connected to the power supply before you install the power supply in the
power supply bay.
