configure ospf area <area-identifier> normal
Description
Configures an OSFP area as a normal area.
Syntax Description
Default
Normal.
Usage Guidelines
A normal area is an area that is not any of the following:
Stub area
NSSA
Virtual links can be configured through normal areas. External routes can be distributed into normal
areas.
Example
The following command configures an OSPF area as a normal area:
configure ospf area 10.1.0.0 normal
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 10.1.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all platforms.
area-identifier Specifies an OSPF area.
