A cool panel in fine weather means warm water in the pool
A solar panel which is operating correctly feels cool, because the solar energy (heat) is passed on to the
pool immediately.
Step 3: Storage during the winter
After the bathing season the panel must be emptied and put away. If water freezes in the panel, this
can damage it.
Warning: This process can start even if the air temperature does not fall any
lower than 5°C!
Damage caused in this way is not covered by the warranty.
1. Switch off the pool pump.
2. Block the inlet and outlet of the pool.
3. Detach both hoses from the connecting pipes of the panel.
4. Remove a closure plug at the other end of the panel.
5. Roll up the panel and secure it with the strap. Hold the rolled-up panel tilted until no more water runs
out. Screw in the closure plug again.
6. Put the panel and hoses away safely for the winter.
