4 / CARING FOR AND CLEANING YOUR OVEN
In order to make the most of the heat which
is already stored in the oven, thus saving
energy:
Start a pyrolysis cycle immediately after
cooking.
Remove the accessories from the oven and
remove any major spill residue.
Check that the programmer is displaying the
time of day and that it is not flashing. (fig. 1).
Simply turn your cooking selector switch to
the “Pyrolysis” position (fig. 2).
The “pyrolysis” symbol appears in the display
(fig.3).

Warning
Door locking comes into effect
several minutes after the start of the cycle.
The pyrolysis operation stops
automatically. Once the temperature cools
to approximately 275°C, it is possible to
open the door.
The pyrolysis operation stops automatically,
at which time it is possible to open the door.
At the end of the pyrolysis cycle the display
indicates 0:00.
Return the function selector switch to the 0
position. (fig.4).
When the oven is cool, use a damp cloth to re-
move the white ashes. The oven is clean and
once again ready for the cooking application of
your choice.

The oven will be unavailable for use for 2 ½
hours (2 hours pyrolysis and 30 minutes cool-
ing). This length of time cannot be modified.
This time includes the cooling time until the
door can be unlocked.
