6.3 Circular interpolation (G02/G03)
Movements programmed after G02 and G03 are executed along a
circular path at the programmed feedrate "F" from the current position
to the indicated target point.
A circular interpolation can only be executed in the active plane. There
are two types of circular interpolations:
G02 Clockwise circular interpolation.
G03 Counterclockwise circular interpolation.
Clockwise (G02) and counterclockwise (G03) moving directions have
been established according to the following coordinate system.
Programming
A circular interpolation may be defined as follows:
In cartesian coordinates, by defining the coordinates of the target
point and the center of the arc.
In cartesian coordinates, by defining the coordinates of the target
point and the arc radius.
In polar coordinates, defining the radius and the angle of the end
point as well as the arc center coordinates.
The coordinate system is referred to
the movement of the tool on the part.
