Right-hand rule
The direction of the X-Y-Z axes can easily be remembered using the
right-hand rule (see the drawing below).
On rotary axes, the positive turning direction is determined by the
direction pointed by your fingers when holding the rotary axis with your
hand while your thumb points in the positive direction of the linear axis.
