5.12.1 Probe connection.

Plug-in part. 9-pin male SUB-D type connector.
All the shields of the cables must be connected to ground only a the CNC through pin ·1·
of the connector, leaving the other one free. The wires of the shielded cable must not be
longer than 75 mm without the protection shield.
Probe connection.
The CNC has two probe inputs, either 5 V to 24 V. In the following diagrams, the first probe
input is used (pins 1 to 1); to use the second input, use pins 1 and 6 to 9.
Probe whose output has a normally open contact. Connection to +5 V.
The connection acts upon the up flank (positive pulse) of the probe signal.
Probe whose output has a normally open contact. Connection to +24 V.
The connection acts upon the up flank (positive pulse) of the probe signal.
Probe whose output has a normally closed contact. Connection to +5 V.
