HARDWARE
For configurations 2 and 3, as in figure F. H2/30:
When the voltage setpoint of the DC BUS (given by the selected by
switch configuration) and the value of the rectified line voltage
(1.41xVline) are very close to each other, the voltage command of
the bus is adjusted automatically a few volts over the peak voltage of
mains issuing the warning
A706.
The maximum setpoint limit allowed at the DC BUS is 725 V DC, so
if the auto-adjustment exceeds this value, then the RPS power supply
will prompt the
E707 error code.
Note that lowering the line voltage also lowers the DC bus voltage.
The minimum value is determined by the selected switch
configuration.
For configuration 1, as in figure F. H2/30:
When the user changes the value of parameter VP5 (650 V DC by
default), when the line voltage approaches the voltage setpoint of the
DC BUS, an
E706 error code is prompted without any automatic
adjustment required. If its default value has not been changed, it will
behave the same way as the rest of the previous configurations.
Push buttons
RESET button
Initialization button on the main power supply. This button allows the user
to return the equipment to the same initial conditions · reset · after an
anomaly has been noticed.
BOOT button
This button starts the installation/update process of the computer
software via the WinDDSSetup application · select the QCRPS input in
the “BootType” window after clicking the BOOT icon ·.
With software version 01.05 or higher, it enables the SERCOS-II
transmission speed to be viewed and edited without having to access the
WinDDSSetup.
Performance in RPS mode
NOTE. See chapter 14, section MESSAGE CODES FOR RPS POWER SUPPLIES
of the manual · man_dds_soft.pdf · regarding the causes of the
prompted errors and/or warnings.
