12.2 Assembly of horn BLAKE
The BLAKE horn is used for shoe bottom stitching.
To replace this horn, proceed as follows:
- Turn off the main switch and disconnect the machine from the main supply line.
- Unscrew the 3 screws n. 90075.5 that fix the horn and remove the horn.
- Where the support for the Opanka horn is mounted on the machine (5522.10) remove the 3
screws n.90079.5 and remove the support.
- Mount the double horn, making sure that the male transmission n. 5525.02 is well set in the
correct housing: art. n. 5516.00.
- Only just tighten the 3 screws n. 90075.5 and center the horn with slight movements by tapping
the base of the horn with a resin hammer.
- Check that the horn is perfectly centered by removing the whirl cover plate and checking that the
whirl remains completely still, or practically still while the horn is being turned..
- Check that the horn is correctly centered, and block by tightening the 3 screws n.90075.5
