The TOF-DL250 series is a long-distance BGS (Background Suppression) laser sensor, designed for precise object detection and measurement. This series offers both analog and control output types, catering to a wide range of industrial applications.

Function Description:

The sensor operates by emitting a red laser diode (650nm wavelength, 64mW max output, 7ns pulse duration, 11.11MHz repetition rate) and detecting the reflected light. It measures distances from 0.25m to 2.5m, with a spot size of 10mm/2.5m. The device is capable of teaching and setting various output parameters, including threshold levels, output modes (Light ON/Dark ON), and delay functions. It features a 7-segment 3-digit display for distance readings in centimeters, along with LED indicators for output (orange), stable detection (green/unstable: red), and laser status (OFF when laser is OFF).

Usage Features:

The TOF-DL250 series offers flexible installation options with both cable type and M12 pig-tail type connectors, and includes a mounting bracket. The M8 connector can be rotated from horizontal to vertical positions, but care must be taken not to exceed the stopper to prevent breakage.

The device features a user-friendly interface with "RUN" and "SET" buttons, along with "+" and "-" buttons for adjustment.

Teaching Function: By pressing the "SET" button for 1 second or more, the sensor can be taught the current distance for Output 1, 2, or 3, displaying "tc1," "tc2," or "tc3" and the threshold level.
Setting Mode: Pressing "RUN" for 1 second or more enters the setting mode. Keys can be locked ("Loc") and unlocked ("uLc") by pressing "RUN" again for 1 second or more.
Output Modes: Selectable between Light ON (turns ON when distance exceeds threshold) and Dark ON (turns ON when distance is less than threshold). Stability-Light ON and Stability-Dark ON options are also available for Output 1.
Delay Functions: Options for no delay, OFF delay, ON delay, and one-shot output with adjustable input values (0-999, default 0, unit 10ms).
Near/Far Side Settings: For analog output types, set distances for 4mA/0V (near side) and 20mA/10V (far side) outputs (range: 0-400, default 0/300, unit cm).
Threshold Levels: Adjustable threshold levels for Output 1, 2, and 3 (range: 0-400, default 300, unit cm).
Offset: An offset value can be added to the teaching level (valid from the second time of teaching) (range: -50 to +50, default 0, unit cm).

Display Control: The display can be activated ("ON") or darkened ("OFF") after 30 seconds of no button operation.
External Input (MF Input): Can be disabled or used as an output (Output 1 for TOF-DL250AC, Output 3 for TOF-DL250T/TM12/T-5, Output 2 for TOF-DL250DC).
Laser Control: Laser power can be turned OFF or ON.
NPN/PNP Selection: Input/output can be set as NPN (default) or PNP.
