Usandosistemipiùcomplessi(adesempiopiù

modocheilvaloretotaledell’impedenzadegli
altoparlantisiacorrispondenteaquellapresentesul
finale.
Possiamoavereduetipidicollegamento:inserieoin
parallelo.
Collegareinserieduealtoparlantisignificaunireun
terminalepositivoedunonegativodeidueecollegare
all’amplificatoreirimanentidueterminalirimasti
scollegati.Ilorovalorisisommano:peresempio,due
altoparlantida8ohminseriedanno16ohm.
Quandoglialtoparlantisonocollegatiinparallelo,i
terminalidellostessosegnosonounititraloro.Per
ottenereilvaloretotalebisognautilizzareunaformula,
indicandoconR1edR2ivalorididuealtoparlanti,ed
eseguire.(R1xR2)/(R1+R2).Conduealtoparlanti
da8ohm,peresempio,avremo:
(8x8)/(8+8)=64/16=4ohm.Inpraticacollegando
duealtoparlantiugualiinparalleloilvaloresidimezza.
Undiffusorepuòessereutilizzatosiainimpiantidi
sonorizzazioneatensionecostantesiainimpiantiad
impedenzacostante.

BREVICENNIDIACUSTICA BRIEFNOTESONACOUSTICS
Adaptingtheoutputimpedanceofthepoweramplifier
totheloudspeakerinputimpedancemeansthatallthe
energyfromtheamplifierwillbetransferredtothe
speakerswithnosignallosses,sothatthesystem
functionsinoptimumconditions(andtheriskof
damageisminimised);aloudspeakerofhigher
impedancethanthepoweramplifiercanbeused
althoughthiswillresultinapowerreduction;
loudspeakersoflowerimpedancethanthepower
amplifieroutputimpedanceshouldnotbeconnected.
Ifmorecomplexsystems(e.g.severalspeakers
connectedtothesamepoweramplifier)areadopted,it
mustbeensuredthattheoverallspeakerimpedance
valuecorrespondstothepoweramplifieroutput
impedance.
Therearetwopossibleconnectionsystems:seriesor
parallel.
Connectingtwospeakersinseriesmeansconnecting
thepositiveterminalofonespeakertothenegative
terminaloftheotherandthenconnectingthetwo
remainingunconnectedterminalstotheamplifier.In
thiscasetheimpedancevaluesaresummed:e.g.two8
ohmspeakersconnectedinparallelpresenta16ohm
load.
Toconnecttwospeakersinparallelsimply
interconnectthetwosignspeakerterminals.Toobtain
thetotalvalueinthiscaseacalculationisrequired
whereinR1andR2aretheloudspeakervaluesandthe
followingformulaisresolved:(R1xR2)/(R1+R2).
Forexample,withtwo8-ohmspeakers,wewouldhave:
(8x8)/(8+8)=64/16=4ohm.Inpractice,whentwo
identicalspeakersareconnectedinparallelthe
impedancevalueishalved.
Aspeakercanbeusedbothinconstantvoltagesound
systemsandconstantimpedancesystems.

speakersmustbenolessthantheimpedanceselected
ontheamplifieroutputtoavoidtheriskofserious
damagetotheamplifier
(2)Thesumofnominalpowervaluesofallconnected
speakersmustbenolessthanthatoftheamplifier
(3)Connectioncablelengthsmustbekepttothe
indispensableminimum
