G. Refer to Table 1 for information regarding position of jumpers and external wiring connections.
H. A maximum of five (5) IDUs may be installed in a 7200 Series system, with a maximum of thirty (30) units
of all types combined.
2.2 WHEN MOUNTING THE IDU IN A 7200 SERIES CAB-A CABINET:
A. Remove the IDU from its ESD envelope, being certain to use static protection.
B. Mount the printed circuit board with the Terminal Block TB1 at the far right. Fasten the four (4) mounting
holes with screws into the threaded standoffs. See Figure 2.
C. Route the power cable (rd, blk, yel, gry) from J7 of the SCU/DIU over the IDU to J7 of the IDU, located at
the bottom right corner of the unit.
D. Route the 14-conductor FCINET
®
communication harness from J4 of the SCU/DIU over the IDU to J4 of
the IDU, located at the lower right corner of the board.
E. Plug the furnished 8-position terminal block Into TB1, located on the right side of the unit, if not already in-
stalled.
F. Set the Address Switch SW1 to the proper position. Address “0" is an invalid address.
G. Refer to Table 1 for information regarding position of jumpers and external wiring connections.
H. A maximum of five (5) IDUs may be installed in a 7200 Series system, with a maximum of thirty (30) units
of all types combined.
