12.3 Checking the
footplate height
Ensure the footplate is
at a height that enables
weight-bearing along the
full length of the thigh.
Having the footplate too
high can cause excess
pressure to the bottom,
which hinders relaxation.
Adjust the length of the
foot straps to give a rm
hold over the top of both
feet.
12.2 Attaching the
safety belt
Attach the safety belt
using the attachment
points on the back of the
seat. Choose a notch that
will be comfortable but
secure for the child and
hook onto attachment
point on both sides.
