Clean gas cooktop as per following instructions.
Monthly
Remove all burner parts, and clean using a non-abrasive detergent. Rinse in cold water, dry
thoroughly, and replace.
Clean the ignitor carefully, using a toothbrush and methylated spirits.
Every 3-4
years
Contact your local authorised gas Service Agent to perform a thorough check on all gas
components on the gas cooker.
Burner parts and trivets
You can remove and clean these parts with hot soapy water or non-abrasive detergents. Clean spills regularly
before they become burnt on. Do not wash these parts in a dishwasher.
After cleaning, check that the burners and their flame spreaders are dry before replacing correctly.
It is very important to check that the burner flame spreader and the cap have been correctly positioned. Failure
to do so can cause serious problems.
to avoid damage to the electronic ignition, do not try to light a burner without all burner
parts correctly in place.
