7.2.11 Removal of the Door
1. Follow the procedure for removal of bellows
clamp (refer to Section 7.2.4). This will allow
access to the tapping plate holding the door
hinge.
2. Undo the 2 screws that connect the hinge onto
the front panel and remove the door.
3. Remove the screws that secure the outer cover
to the inner cover to access the latch assembly,
hinge and the porthole glass.
7.2.12 Pump Blockages
To clear a blockage or an obstruction from the pump:
1. Open the filter compartment cover in the lower
right hand corner.
2. Place a shallow dish underneath the front edge
of the pump filter flap.
3. Unhook the pump outlet hose pulling it out
(about 150mm), remove the plug and drain
residual water into the shallow dish.
4. Replace the plug into the hose and refit hose
back into housing.
5. Carefully unscrew pump filter (counter
clockwise). After the water has ceased flowing,
access to the pump impellor can be gained.
6. Refit it the reverse procedure.
7.2.13 Removal of the Drain Pump
1. Remove the base panel and kick panel from the
machine (refer to Section (7.2.3).
2. Remember the pump will have water that
requires emptying. Place a tray underneath the
front edge of the machine below the pump filter
and gently unscrew the filter, releasing the
water into the tray.
3. Undo the 3 mounting screws to release the
pump from the cabinet.
4. Release the tub to pump hose and the drain
hose clamps and remove the hoses from the
pump.
5. Remove the harness.
Reassemble in the reverse order
