Updating your Fitbit Flex 2
We occasionally make free feature enhancements and product improvements
available through firmware updates. We recommend keeping your Flex 2 up to date.
When a firmware update is available you’ll see a notification in the Fitbit app
prompting you to update. When the update starts, the lights on Flex 2 flash and a
progress bar appears in the app. You’ll see a confirmation message in the app when
the update is done.
Note: Updating your Flex 2 takes several minutes and may be demanding on the
battery. For this reason we recommend updating while your tracker is fully
charged or plugged into the charging cable.
