4.1 Dose Rate
In "Dose Rate"mode, the R200 displays the current dose rate expressed
in units of either rem/h or Sv/h. This function is the first to display once the
system is turned on.

For best dose rate calculations the source must not be too close to the instrument.
The "Dose Rate" screen displays two representations of the gamma dose rate (an analog meter, and
digital readout):
The unit of measure may be
set by navigating (through the
menu ) to:
"Radiation" / "Units"
and from this screen, selecting
either "Sievert", or "rem"(the
factory default).
