Running Single Tests
The tester’s single test mode (SINGLE TEST on the rotary
switch) lets you run individual tests for isolating cabling
failures and quickly testing repairs. You can run some single
tests without a remote. Table 3-4 shows which tests require
a smart remote.
Single tests use the selected test limit to produce a PASS/
FAIL result for the test. Each single test also produces results
for other measurements. For example, the wire map test
also produces propagation delay and delay skew results. To
see these results, press
I when the single test is finished;
then press
K View Results.
To save a single test, press
N, select or create a cable ID;
then press
N again.
