Drill hole in wall, check tube length, cut outer tube and spindle extension to size, and reassemble.
Insulate the hole and screw the garden tap into place. Drill holes for plugs if needed.
Loosen and retighten the nut to prevent stress corrosion and check cone fit.
The tap self-drains when turned off, causing minor external leakage.
Remove hose/coupler before winter and check for drips to prevent frost damage.
Turn off water, detach spindle, replace extension, check dimensions, and reassemble.
