 Is the resistance between 3700 and 4100 ohms?
Yes
GO to A9.
No
REPLACE the mode switch. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
A9 CHECK THE 4X4 MODE SWITCH IN THE 4X4 HIGH POSITION
Place the mode switch in the 4X4 HIGH position.
Measure the resistance between the mode switch, terminals 2 and 3.
 Is the resistance between 1050 and 1150 ohms?
Yes
GO to A10.
No
REPLACE the mode switch. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
A10 CHECK THE 4X4 MODE SWITCH IN THE 4X4 LOW POSITION
Place the mode switch in the 4X4 LOW position.
Measure the resistance between the mode switch, terminals 2 and 3.
 Is the resistance between 340 and 380 ohms?
Yes
GO to A11.
No
REPLACE the mode switch. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
A11 CHECK CIRCUIT 465 (W/LB) FOR OPEN
