LHD vehicles
2. NOTE: Do not allow the coolant hose clamps
to touch the bodywork.
Install a new left-hand heater coolant hose.
• Route the heater coolant hose and install
the coolant hose clamps.
RHD vehicles
3. NOTE: Position of the heater coolant hose.
The coolant hose must be routed below the
connections on the heater control valve and
around the refrigerant lines.
NOTE: Do not allow the coolant hose clamps to
touch the bodywork.
Install a new left-hand heater coolant hose.
• Route the heater coolant hose and install
the coolant hose clamps.
All vehicles
4. Renew the heater control valve insulation.
5. Install the remaining components in reverse
order.
6. Bleed the cooling system. For additional
information, refer to Section 303-03.
7. Connect the battery negative lead.
• Enter the radio keycode.
• Reprogram the pre-set radio stations.
• Reset the clock.
• Carry out a road test to enable the PCM
to collect data.
