HEADLA MP AND PAN EL DIMMER CON TROL
Rotate the control clockwise one position fromoff to turn on the parking lamps.
Rotate two positions from off to alsoturn on the headlamps. Rotate counterclockwise
from off to activate autolamp (if equipped),which provides light-sensitive automatic
on/off control of the exterior lights andkeeps them on for a short period of time after
the ignition is turned off. When thecontrol is in any position except high beams or off,
pull the control toward you to activatethe foglamps (if equipped).
Use the panel dimmer control, located tothe right of the headlamp control, to adjust the brightness of
the instrument panel during the headlamps andparking lamps operation. Rotate to thefull up position,
past the detent, to turn on theinterior lamps. Rotate to the full down position, past the detent, to
prevent the interior lights from illuminating whendoors are opened.
POW ER ADJUSTAB LE PEDALS (if equipped)
Press and hold the top end ofrocker control to adjust the accelerator and brake
pedals away from you. Hold the lowerend of the control to move the pedals toward
you. Adjust the pedals only when thevehicle is stopped and the gearshift lever is in the
P (Park) position.
If equipped with memory function, the adjustable pedals, alongwith the driver's seat, can be
automatically positioned in two programmable positions usingthe control located on the driver's seat.
Refer to your Owner's Guide for instructionson how to use this memory feature.
SERVICE EN GI NE SOON LAMP
Illuminates briefly when the ignition is turnedto the ON position, to ensure the
system is functional. If the light comeson after the engine is started, refer to your
Owner's Guide. This lamp will illuminate ifthe fuel cap is not fullysecured. In addition,
"Check fuel cap" will appear in themessage center display (if equipped). Make sure that
the fuel cap is secure by turningit clockwise 1/4 of a turn until it stops.
ABS WAR NI NG LA MP
Illuminates briefly when the ignition is turnedto the ON position. If the light
comes on after the engine is started,refer to your Owner's Guide.
SPEED CO NT ROL (if equipped)
To set the speedcontrol, press the ON button and release. Accelerate to the
desired speed and press the SET buttonand release. Once the system is engaged, an
icon will appear in the instrument cluster. To increasespeed, tap the SET button and the
speed will increase in small increments eachtime, or use the accelerator pedal to reach
desired speed and then press SET. Toreduce speed, press and hold CST until desired
speed is reached. Release or tap theCST button and speed will decrease in small increments. Also, you
can depress the brake pedal until desiredspeed is reached and press SET. Press RES/RESUME to return
the vehicle to a previously set speedif the vehicle is traveling more than 30 mph (48 km/h).
STE ER IN G W HE EL CON TR OL S (if equipped)
These controlsallow you tooperate features of the radio and climate control systems. Press to
select AM, FM1, FM2 (if equipped),TAPE,CD, FES/DVD,AUX (if equipped) or SAT1, SAT2,or
SAT3,if your vehicle is equippedwith these features. In AM, FM1 or FM2 mode, press and releaseSEEK
to select thenext preset station or press and hold SEEK to select the nextstrong station within the
selected radioband. In CD mode, pressand release SEEK to select the next track selection on the CDor
press and holdSEEK to fast forward in the current track selection.In CD mode,press SEEK to select the
next selectionon the CD.In any mode, press VOL+ or – to adjust volume. Press TEMP + or –to adjust
temperature andFAN + or – toadjust fan speed.
MESSAGE CENTER (if equipped)
With the ignition on, the messagecenter displays important
vehicle information through a constant monitor ofvehicle systems. The
system will notify you of potential vehicleproblems by displaying
warnings, followed by a long indicator chime.You may select the INFO
or SETUP buttons on the message centerto display trip odometer, odometer, compass, distance to
empty, average fueleconomy, and tripelapsed drive time. The RESET button maybe used to reset
selected functions in the INFO and SETUPmenus. For more information aboutmessage center
functions, please refer to your Owner's Guide.
FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL (if equipped)
2H (2WD HIGH) delivers power to therear wheels only and is the optimal
position for smoothness and fuel economy. 4H (4x4 HIGH) provides mechanically
locked four-wheel drive power to all fourwheels. 4L (4x4 LOW) provides mechanically
locked four-wheel drive when extra power atreduced speeds is required. With either
an electronic shift 4WD system or manual4WD system, to shift from 2H to4H move the control at any
forward speed up to 55 mph (88 km/h).To shift to orfrom 4L, bring the vehicle to a stop and keep the
brake pedal depressed. Next, place the gearshiftin N (Neutral), and then move the control to or from 4L.
Some mechanical noise may be heard whenthe system engages. This is normal and no service is
required. Note: The manual 4WD system hasan N (Neutral) position in the transfer case. This setting
overrides the transmission and puts the vehiclein Neutral regardless of gearshift position. This setting
should only be used when towing thevehicle.
AUX IL IA RY INP UT JACK (if equipped)
Your vehiclemay be equipped with an Auxiliary Input Jack (AIJ) located in the
instrument panel tray.This allows you to plug and playauxiliar yaudio devices.
Press AUX repeatedly on your audiosystem to access. When LINE IN appears in the
display, plug inyour auxiliary audio device. For moreinformation, please refer to your
Owner’s Guide.

TRACT IO N CONTROL™ (if equipped)
The TCS switch has an indicatorlight that illuminates when the system is off. The
system will automatically turn on every time theignition is turned off and on. For more
information, please refer to your Owner’s Guide.
AUX IL IA RY POW ER POINT (12V)
An auxiliary power point is located on theinstrument panel. For SuperCab and
SuperCrew vehicles, there is an additional auxiliary powerpoint located on the lower
rear side of the center console thatis accessible from the rear seats. Do NOT plug
optional electrical accessories into the cigarette lighter.
REMOT E E NT RY SYST EM (if equipped)
Press this control onceto lockall doors. Theparklamps will flash. Pressing thecontrol
a secondtime will chirpthe horn to confirm that alldoors are closedand locked, and
the parklamps will flashonce more.
Press this control once to unlock thedriver's door and twice to unlock all doors.
Press this control to sound the panicalarm. To silence, press the control again, or
turn the ignition on.
The remote entry system can also control thememory feature (if equipped). Please refer
to your Owner's Guide for instructions onhow to activate this feature.
KEYLESS EN TR Y SY STEM (if equipped)
With this control you can lockor unlock all doors without using akey.
Unlock all doors = Enter thefive-digit program code and then press 3 • 4
Lock all doors = Press 7 •8 and 9 • 0 at the same time
DRIVER / PA SS EN GE R B ELTMINDER
The BeltMinderfeature is asupplemental warning to thesafety belt warning function.
This feature
provides additional reminders by intermittentlysounding a chime and
illuminating thesafety belt warning
lamp in theinstrument cluster when thedriver's and
front passenger'ssafety belts are unbuckled.Both the
driver's and front passenger's
safety belt usages are monitored and either may activate the BeltMinder feature.
REVERSE SE NS IN G SYST EM (RSS) (if equipped)
This sonar system sounds a tone towarn the driver of obstacles near the rear bumper
when the reverse gear is selected. Obstaclescan be detected within approximately
6 feet (2 m) behind the rearbumper while the vehicle moves in reverse at speeds less
than 3 mph (5 km/h). The reversesensing system defaults to on, but can be disabled
by turning the ignition on, placing thegearshift in (R) Reverse and pressing the RSS control.
An indicator light on the control, locatednext to the cigarette lighter, will illuminate when the system
is turned off.
TIRE P RE SS UR E M ON IT OR IN G SY STEM (if equipped)
Using radio-frequency pressure sensors, this system monitorstire pressure on all road tires and
provides the driver with a yellow warninglight when air needs to be added. Message center equipped
vehicles provide additional warning messages. The TPMSwarning light will reset itself (turn off)after
the tires are set to specification andthe vehicle is driven above 20 mph (32 km/h) for at least 2
minutes. Please Note: Outside temperature affects tirepressure. Please refer to your Owner’s Guide.
