REMOVING A REAR LAMP
ASSEMBLY
1. Make sure the headlamps are off.
2. Loosen the quarter-turn fastener on
the rearmost fender flare.
3. Fully open the tailgate. See Opening
the Tailgate From Outside Your
Vehicle (page 84).
4. Remove the three pushpins from inside
the trim panel.
5. Remove the lower trim piece by
disengaging the retaining tabs. Pull
from the inside edge first, then pull
from the outside edge.
6. Remove the lower retaining bolt from
the inside trim piece. Pull on the lower
part of the trim piece to disengage the
upper retaining clips.
