KEYLESS ENTRY
General information
The key free system allows the driver
to operate the vehicle without the
use of a key or remote control.
The advantages of the key free
system are:

the vehicle can be locked and
unlocked without having to insert
a key into the door lock or press
any buttons on a remote control.
•
the engine can be started without
the need to insert a key into the
ignition. See Starting the
engine (page 141).
