Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes
INSTALL a new PCM. REFER to Section 303-14. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
REPAIR Circuit 347 (BK/YE). TEST the system for normal operation.
C9 CHECK THE A/C PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH VOLTAGE
A/C Pressure Cutoff Switch C170
Measure the voltage between the A/C pressure cutoff switch C170 pin 3, circuit 348 (VT) and ground.
Is the voltage reading greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to C10.
No
GO to C11.
C10 CHECK THE A/C PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH
Connect a fused jumper lead between the A/C pressure cutoff switch C170 pin 1, circuit 441 (RD/YE) and pin 3,
circuit 348 (VT).
Measure the voltage between the A/C cycling switch C139 pin 1, circuit 441 (RD/YE) and ground.
