CONVENIENCE
BLUECRUISE*
BlueCruise is an advanced driver assistance feature
that enables hands-free highway driving on divided
highways across North America.
BlueCruise Setup:
1. Enable BlueCruise through the touchscreen in
the Driver Assistance menu by selecting Cruise
Control and Lane Centering with Hands-Free.
2. Make sure that lane centering is turned on . If not,
press the lane centering button
on the steering
wheel to enable it.
Using BlueCruise on the road:
1. Activate BlueCruise by pressing the Adaptive
Cruise Control
button on the steering wheel.
2. When BlueCruise is active and
hands-free driving mode is
available, the BlueCruise indicator
changes to blue.
3. You can then take your hands o the wheel, while
keeping your eyes on the road.
While in use, the system monitors your eyes and
head position to detect if you are distracted. If the
system determines you are distracted, it reminds
you to watch the road with prompts on the
instrument cluster and a chime. Eventually, if you
do not respond to the warnings, the vehicle slows
to a low speed. When an external condition cancels
BlueCruise, for example, no lane markings available,
a tone sounds and a message appears in the
instrument cluster. The icon on the cluster changes
to a wheel with hands on
indicating that you
should put your hands back on the wheel.
BlueCruise Features:
Vehicles equipped with the latest version of
BlueCruise have additional hands-free capability,
including:
Lane Change Assist – tap your turn signal to
initiate a hands-free lane switch.
In-Lane Repositioning – helps provide more
space by subtly shiing away from vehicles in
adjacentlanes.
For additional system information, settings and
limitations, see your Owner's Manual. For more
information about BlueCruise and available
versions, visit ford.com/bluecruise.
BlueCruise requires a Connected Service plan
that provides regular map updates, FordPass
App, and modem activation. Ford BlueCruise-
equipped vehicles come with either a 90-day trial
or a 3-year BlueCruise Connected Service plan,
aer which purchase is required. See ford.com/
bluecruise for BlueCruise version details. See the
Connected Services section of your Ford Account
for your BlueCruise Connected Service plan status
and available plan options.
EXTERIOR ZONE LIGHTING*
You can illuminate the exterior of your truck by
selecting exterior zone lighting areas. To use exterior
zone lighting, select Features on the touchscreen,
then select Zone Lighting. Press the
button
to switch the zone lighting on or o. Use the
touchscreen to switch individualzones on or o.
ONBOARD GENERATOR*
The outlet in the bed may function as a portable
generator and can power devices that require up to
the rating listed on the power outlet label. If your
vehicle is equipped with an onboard generator,
outlets can be found in the bed, on the rear of
the center console and in the instrument panel.
You can also use the bed control button or the
touchscreen to switch the outlets on and o. To use
the touchscreen, select Features, then Pro Power
Onboard. The outlet turns on aer a few seconds
and the indicator illuminates. See your Owner's
Manual for more details about using this feature.
