WARNINGS
Extreme Hazard! Do not use a
rearward facing child restraint on a
seat protected by an air bag in front
of it!
When using a child seat with a
support leg, the support leg must
rest securely on the floor.
When using a child seat with a safety
belt, make sure that the safety belt
is not slack or twisted.
WARNINGS
The child seat must rest tightly
against the vehicle seat. It may be
necessary to lift or remove the head
restraint. See Head Restraints (page 72).
Note: When using a child seat on a front
seat, always adjust the front passenger seat
as far back as possible. If it proves difficult
to tighten the lap section of the seatbelt
without slack remaining, adjust the seat
backrest.
