Instrument background colour and type
may vary according to the version.
SPEEDOMETER
It shows the engine speed.
REV COUNTER
Indicates the engine rpm.
FUEL LEVEL GAUGE
Shows the amount of fuel in the tank.
The reserve warning light turns on to
indicate that approximately 5 litres of
fuel are left in the tank.
Do not travel with the tank nearly
empty: lack of fuel supply could damage
the catalyser.
ENGINE COOLANT
TEMPERATURE INDICATOR
This shows the temperature of the
engine coolant fluid and starts working
when the fluid temperature exceeds
approx. 50°C.
The warning light may light up (and a
message on the multifunctional display
may appear in certain versions) to
indicate that the coolant temperature is
too high; in this case, stop the engine
and contact the Ford Dealership.
