Ford Mustang 1999 - Pinpoint Test L: The Brake Warning Indicator is Never;Always On

PINPOINT TEST L: THE BRAKE WARNING INDICATOR IS NEVER/ALWAYS ON
Measure resistance between the low engine coolant switch C137, Pin 1, Circuit 45 (YE/RD) harness side and
ground.
 Is resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new low engine coolant switch. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
No
REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
K5 CHECK THE LOW ENGINE COOLANT SWITCH
Low Engine Coolant Switch C137
 Did the indicator turn off?
Yes
INSTALL a new low engine coolant switch. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
No
GO to K6.
K6 CHECK CIRCUIT 794 (LB) FOR SHORT TO GROUND
Measure the resistance between low engine coolant switch C137 Pin 2, Circuit 794 (LB), harness side and
ground.
 Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
No
INSTALL a new instrument cluster; REFER to Instrument Cluster. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
