3.1.3 Fuel Filler Vent Hose
• The fuel tank vent hose should be clipped to
the vehicle body, with the open end at least
600mm (4x2) or 800mm (4x4 or vehicles with
increased ride height) above ground height.
• The fuel tank vent hose should be protected
and positioned away from direct water spray,
wheel splash and mud splash.
• The fuel tank vent hose must be pointing in a
downward direction.
