Pull the belt out steadily. It may lock if you
pull it sharply or if the vehicle is on a slope.
Press the red button on the buckle to
release the belt. Let it retract completely
and smoothly.

To raise or lower, pull the locking button
on the adjuster and move as necessary.
SEATBELT REMINDER
WARNING
Do not sit on top of a fastened
seatbelt to prevent the seatbelt
reminder from coming on. The
occupant protection system will only
provide optimum protection when you use
the seatbelt properly.
The vehicle may be equipped
with a seatbelt reminder warning
lamp, that appears in the
instrument cluster.
The seatbelt reminder warning lamp may
be activated in the following situations:
