4.6.4 Additional External Lamps
WARNING: Directly splicing into the
vehicle wiring in order to install auxiliary
lamps or other electrical devices may
overload the system and impact the
operation of other vehicle systems.
When installing auxiliary tail lamps, Ford
recommends that power is provided via the trailer
tow module and associated circuitry. For all other
additional exterior lamps, power must be taken
through an auxiliary fuse box with a suitable switch
and / or relay as required.
