MANUAL TRANSMISSION
Selecting Reverse Gear
Do not engage reverse gear when your
vehicle is moving. This can cause damage
to the transmission.

Raise the collar when you select reverse
gear.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
WARNING
Always set the parking brake fully
and make sure you move the
transmission selector lever to park
(P). Switch the ignition off and remove the
key whenever you leave your vehicle.

WARNING
Apply the brakes before moving the
selector lever and keep them applied
until you are ready to move off.
Note: A cold engine has a higher idle speed.
This will increase the tendency for your
vehicle to creep when you have selected a
drive gear.
Press the button on the transmission
selector lever to select reverse (R) and
park (P).
