1. Press the right arrow button on
the steering wheel to enter the
main menu.
2.
Highlight Setup with the up and
down arrow buttons and press
the right arrow button.
3.
Highlight Alarm and press the
right arrow button.
4.
Highlight Reduced or Full
guard. If you prefer to be asked
each time you switch off the
ignition, select Ask on Exit.
5.
Press the OK button to confirm
the selection.
6. Press the left arrow button to exit
the menu. To return to the trip
computer display directly, hold the
left arrow button pressed.

ARMING THE ALARM
All vehicles
To arm the alarm, lock the vehicle
with the key or remote control.
DISARMING THE ALARM
Vehicles without keyless
entry
Perimeter alarm
Disarm and silence the alarm by
unlocking the doors with the key and
switching the ignition on with a
correctly coded key, or unlocking the
doors or the luggage compartment
lid with the remote control.
Category one alarm
Disarm and silence the alarm by
unlocking the doors with the key and
switching the ignition on with a
correctly coded key within 12
seconds, or unlocking the doors or
the luggage compartment lid with the
remote control.
Vehicles with keyless entry
Note: A valid passive key must be
located within the detection range of
that door for keyless entry. See
Keyless entry (page 39).
